Following Nasmyth’s recent acquisition by Sigma, we were called upon to facilitate a major operational transition. The move required a turnkey solution to make sure their production capabilities were transferred safely to a new facility.
The Project Scope
Moving industrial machinery is no small feat, and it requires meticulous planning. Our technical expertise and absolute commitment to minimising downtime means our engineering team managed the end-to-end relocation of several key machines from an off-site location, effortlessly.
Our responsibilities were:
Decommissioning - securely powering down, and preparing the complex CNC machinery for transit.
Relocation - managing the heavy lifting, and logistical challenges, of transporting the equipment from the previous site to the new one.
Recommissioning - Re-installing, aligning, and rigorously testing the machines in the new environment to guarantee they were running at peak precision, and efficiency from day one.
Painting - To give the equipment a fresh lease of life in its new home, we provided a complete repainting service.
